The Career Centre of VŠB-TUO organizes the Career+ job fair every year. On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, you’ll get a unique opportunity to meet employers, make valuable contacts and learn more about job opportunities that could open the door to your future career.

Do you feel like events like this are only for extroverts? Not true! This workshop will help you get the most out of the fair – from solid preparation to effective self-presentation. We’ll show you how to feel more confident and comfortable so the experience brings you real value.

What to expect and what you’ll learn:

• How to prepare an effective elevator pitch. You’ll learn how to introduce yourself clearly and concisely in just 2 minutes – what to say to catch attention and make a good impression.
• How to approach companies and ask the right questions. Practical tips on how to start a conversation, what to ask, and how to lead a meaningful discussion.
• How to manage stress and boost your confidence. Advice on how to handle nervousness and present yourself professionally, even when you don’t feel 100% confident.
